Quilt top and other good things

The quilt top is finished. Here is a photo. I don't want to show the entire top so it is more of a surprise. But this way at least, you can see the colors. There certainly are many fabrics that became involved to make this one. One good thing about using my stash was when I needed more, I just went to the cupboard and got it!

I was talking to Brittany and she thought perhaps I could reward myself with just a little bit of new fabric for using up stash fabric in this quilt :>) I have to admit I like that idea and may yield to the temptation.

I spent a good part of the afternoon with Janel today. She treated me to a great dessert. It was one of those candied apples. This one was great! There was caramel, raspberry chocolate and chocolate with chocolate chips. Mmmm! Plus there was a little kitty entertainment while enjoying it. They like to climb your leg with their claws. Good thing I had jeans on and even then their claws are sharp. But they are fun to watch and laugh at.

I fly out this morning. (Yeah, I am up very late - again) I am looking forward to going to Minneapolis for a little shopping, seeing Brittany and my brother and his family. So on that note, time for sleep!
