Starlite Garden Theater

I was looking at an old photo of a theater called Starlite Garden Theater. I don't believe it is around any more, but the name really caught my eye. It is a bit glamorous and yet the building was nothing out of the ordinary. Just a gathering place leftover from the 1930's or so. This could be a good setting for a story or collage...hmmm.

On this Tuesday morning. I took Gracie out for her morning walk. Both of us are a bit tired and warm afterwards. But that is good.

We were in Minneapolis this weekend for Twins/Yankee baseball games. The one on Saturday night was almost 5 hours long. And the Yankee's won. I didn't go to the Sunday one, but the gang pictured here did. Lucas was pretty well dressed for the occasion and very excited. He brought home a ball too!

On Saturday, my girls and I went shopping at Ikea. That store can be trouble. It takes a bit of time to go through everything and at the end, if you need items pulled from their warehouse area, it is very confusing. And many dollars are spent. We liked what we got. I was attempting to put together my table yesterday and they had helped me choose the incorrect part for connecting the legs of the table to the top. So I have to wait a couple more days to complete that project. I am using it to jump start my "work" in that room. I needed a better chair for in front of my easel. The one I purchased goes with the table, is comfortable and looks nice.

I will post more later this week as I get through more stuff. Still working on Anniversary items for my parents 50Th! Should be an enjoyable time.
