Whew!
We had such a busy weekend, WHEW! Saying that word makes me think of a comic strip guy with his hand wiping his brow and the sweat dripping away. Something
done after a hard day's work. How about after a hard weekend of work? I think it applies there as well. We need to take time to smell the roses, and enjoy the moments, whatever they are.

I'm younger than that now." Bob Dylan wrote it and it's called My Back Pages. Some of the song's words in the rest of the song sound angry but I like this part in it. In a way, it makes me think of the weekend and all the stuff hanging over me to get done and have ready and how it weighs you down, but that now that it's over, I feel the weight lifted off my shoulders, so feel younger. At least that is one way to look at it.
Janel graduated from UNO with a degree in Spanish. We had a big celebration on Saturday with friends and family attending. Needless to say, lots of fun was had by all. We broke-in the Margaritaville and were marveled by it - !
Then to top things off,
Mother's Day was Sunday. Ken and our girls made us a great brunch. Ate lots
and lots of food and it was all good. My sister Kristi and her family, and my parents were also there so that was pretty special. I actually had a pretty emotional morning.
Sometimes I get that way. You just have to let it out and pretty soon you start to feel better.

weather was perfect for a walk that evening.
Gracie is growing, growing, growing. Janel said she was 13.5 pounds! A nice jump from the 8 pounds she was when brought home. She has her moments and still loves to chew and bite anything that moves. She especially enjoys hands and feet. But we are working on only toys. And working on it.
Now the big thing to plan is my parent's 50th Anniversary celebration. Being on June 21, we have a little bit of time. Good thing. Time enough to do it up right. That should be a fun time too!
