Time

Time. Time to catch up. Time to do this. Time to do that. Time. Time. Time. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Time flies (when you are having fun). Time. Time is. Time is constant. Use it wisely. What we do with our time says a lot about ourselves. A moment in time. Life is a succession of moments. To live each one is to succeed. Corita Kent
Janel and I went to Fargo last weekend to watch Brittany run her first half marathon. It was so exciting to see her accomplish this. She put in a lot of time to prepare for it and she succeeded in it, with determination on her face and gratitude for the accomplishment. It was cool to see, a proud moment for me as her Mom:)

Of course, there is always lots to do and many things to get done while in Fargo. We gave Brittany a new grill for her birthday and hadn't yet delivered it to her. It is good to have family help with Chuck and Kristi and their vehicle as it never would have fit in a basic car. So that was finally done. Then we tested it out for dinner with brats and dogs. I should say that I am not a master on the grill. That usually falls to Ken and he does it so well. But at least I tried and you can't mess them up too much. They were nicely charred. And Spring brings yard work. Grass grows. Green! I like that color. No, I love that color! Her yard is just the right size to start out with. And with the fence, Gracie was in heaven. She could play outside and frolic freely. Gracie did well with Lois Lane and with the long drive. Even needed a bath one day. Milestones.

This year I am on the Wednesday night ladies league. This past Wednesday was only our 2nd night out and I shot a pb of 44! That was fun. But knowing the game of golf, who knows what the next score will be. More fun I hope.

Last night was loud, wet and bright! Lots of rain, even a little hail against the window and the thunder sounded incredible. Gracie had a hard time sleeping through it. Janel said it was better once she was put into the closet where is darker and muffled from the sound.
Today is a day to do some errands. Ken's birthday is tomorrow. Tonight we are going out to dinner with some of his co-workers. More later...
