Kitties and Caffine

Today is starting off with lots of sunshine. That's my kind of day. It give me an energy to do lots of things. It is like a caffine jump start, only better for you. However, I still like my 2 cups of coffee.

I have been working on a quilt top all week. I am attempting to lower my stash level of fabrics. I think I may have quite a few quilts to make. I have not decided if the back will be another quilt design so it is reversible or just a regular one. They will be queen sized so that they are usable on the bed and my girls can choose which ones they want. Actually it feels good to be doing something productive. I have had too much time sitting around after my foot surgery. So finally, I am accomplishing something!

Last evening Ken and I brought chinese dinner over to Janel's place. We enjoyed ourselves with good company, food, conversation and sweet kitties. This photo shows both of them snuggled on Janel's lap for a little nap. Pretty sweet! Both Janel and Brittany think I should get a cat. I guess they can see how much I enjoy them. I am just not 100% convinced yet. But I know, should I start looking, I will get one. They have that tendency to win over your heart.
