Beginnings

January is clear and crisp and clean. It is a time to start fresh. I have learned from past resolutions not to make it too unattainable. If little steps are taken, it is more likely to be achieved. This year I am sharing a resolution with my oldest daughter to be more positive. We will be leaning on each other along the way and I know it will be fun too. Another resolution is to make more time for my creative side. This can include the typical paint and canvas or the paint and canvas can be the evening's meal. With many ways to be creative, there are a lot of choices to make. I feel this journey will be an interesting one, a growth in self and awareness of the world around me. Sometimes, we just need to listen to the quiet in the snow.
