Make it Work!

I finished framing a new piece today.  It was truly a hassle.  I have always measured twice and cut once, but somehow this one didn't go right.  So I had to return and cut a little bit off to make it work.  This one was a real challenge to finish.  It seemed to take so long and I had a difficult time knowing when to stop.  When are these things done?  When one doesn't want to have anything more to do with it? Or is it finished when there isn't anything left to do on it?  How does one decide.  This one was a little of all these things.

So I am having a congratulatory beer and will be hanging it soon.  Then I will take a better photo to show off the painting.
