From this to this!

This was part of my week. It took a large chunk of time, but the result was stunning! This is my second silver leafed fireplace. As I was doing it there were many challenges. Namely, the silver leaf this time was even thinner than the time before and tore very easily. But I think I rose to the challenge.
The final result? I think the picture says it all!
