Saturday morning
I have just put the coffee on and am sitting here while the sky lightens up. It is Saturday morning. So far the day holds exercising and painting. You could equate that to dread and excitement, in that order. Both things are necessary. One for my physical health and the other for my mental well-being.
I finished reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I liked the book overall but thought the ending was rather abrupt, especially after the details everything else went into. But I enjoy the author's style of lyrical writing. Some things sound magical that are quite ordinary. One sentence, from page 210 is "In the space between the two poems, I have found acres of grace." To me, that is very descriptive and picturesque. There were other parts in the book that I liked but I didn't get my highlighter out until midway through. Perhaps I will read the beginning again...
Well, my coffee is ready. The sun is shining. So much for snow that was to have come in the night. It looks like a great start to Saturday.
I will share photos of the paintings in progress. They are for Ken's office. Only a little bit of pressure as he has glass walls in his office and everyone will get to ENJOY them. Ha :)
