Two projects

I finished two projects this week.  The first photo shows a curved piecing piece.  My friend Susan D. showed me just how easy it is to do curved piecing on my last visit gto Arizona.  I also added embroidery embelishments and some beading.  It is definately something I will do more of. The second photo is a locker hooked rug.  I do believe it will be my one and only.  I like the end result, but it is really labor intensive.  It was a nice way to use up some extra fabric however.  It turned out very colorful and is actually cushy on the toes.

  

It is a good feeling to get some things finished.  One should do it more often.  Food for thought...
