Oh the heights...

Whirlwind, globe trotting. Me? Not. But did just return from 16 days abroad. Doesn't that sound like someone else? Certainly not me. But I was in various German cities and then Paris, France. Oohlala! It was pretty nice. And I felt special in many ways. The weather wasn't it's typical hot summer stuff, but more like autumn days which is my favorite kind. The top photo is from a castle top view in Nuremberg, Germany. Oh, and the beer and sausages there are so delicious. I ate those little sausages daily, sometimes more than once. The beer was great too. Such a different way of life. But I really enjoy Germany. It gets more comfortable every time that I go. There are so many details in ordinary items there. I will detail more of them in a future blog.

And the Eiffel Tower?! Words are not enough to describe how it made me feel. It was different in color than I thought, a brown, not black and there was a lacy look to it even though it is so massive. We had a wonderful experience there. Again, more on that on another date.
